I had a fun day of shooting green screen for Electro-Cute! I was like BAM, and it was like WHOA. The very talented Bill Rogers provided the voice of the announcer and I lost hours of my life making the animation. Enjoy!

Please don't do anything stupid, like drink and drive, otherwise I'll have to kill you! :-) 12.25.11 Merry Christmas and stuff! 12.9.11 I've been working on the opening animation for my latest short film for the past week. I'm really happy with how it's turning out and am thrilled that my computer hasn't died on me in the process! Why would my computer be a little baby bitch, you ask? That's because animating is crazy labour/memory intensive. The picture to the left is the finished product, which appears to be one image. The picture on the right shows that the image is actually comprised of 10 images. And yes, that is a table floating in the background. .....hmmm, seems simple enough.....................................What kind of witchcraft is this!?.....
.............................................................NOVEMBER........................................................ 11.24.11 It's Thanksgiving, that means tomorrow is Black Friday...... 11.20.11Today is my birthday 11.6.11 I was recently asked by Ben Blair to be a producer on a web series he is directing and acting in. The series is about the secret life of imaginary friends. The shoot took place this weekend and it was a ton of fun! I don't know how much I'm allowed to say about the project (I've probably already said too much), but here are some photos from set of some of the things I was in charge of creating:

10.30.11 Good news everyone! The Shift won an award at the Terror Film Festival. The talented Kevin Corcoran won the award for best edit. Good job making us all look good Kevbo 10.20.11 Remember the screening for The Shift at the Terror Film Festival I mentioned last month? Well here is all of the info: The short will screen on Oct. 27 in the 7:30pm block. The festival is taking place at the Ethical Society Building located in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia. Fingers crossed we win some awards!

The short was nominated for: Best Sci-Fi short, Best sound design, Best edit and Best musical score. 2.10.11 Good news everyone! The Media Film festival has posted the screening schedule. That means that you can make plans to see "The Shift" on Friday March 4th during the 7pm block. I expect to see you all there. Seriously. 2.2.11 Guess what? A movie I acted in called "The Shift" is going to play at the Media Film Festival in Media, PA. The fest takes place March 3-5 and will be the short films premiere. I'm stoked to say that I will be in attendance and I'm really hoping that Media still has snow when I'm back there. In honor of the shorts first festival screening and the wonderful time I had onset, here are a couple of previously unseen onset photos! Whhaaaaaa!?!?11

The set that was built for the shoot was amazing. .................................................................JANUARY................................................................. 1.9.11 Jeez, it's been a busy couple of days, hasn't it!? As you know my short film Unit 30 was accepted to the Hollywood Asylum 13 film festival. That in itself is awesome news, right? RIGHT!?! Well today I found out that we not only got accepted, but I won best actress at the festival! Now it's time for my favorite saying: how cool is that!?!?! 1.8.11 Make sure to watch The Reel Show at 2pm Eastern time today. 10.25.10 Have you been to the Terror Film Festival? If not, you really should. It's a GREAT festival and I promise that you'll have a good time. I love it so much I'm considering living a polygamous lifestyle with myself, the festival and my husband. I'll let you know how that works out. Any who.......I just got back from attending the festival over the weekend and guess what? Unit 30 won the award for Best Thriller for a Short Film! How cool is that!? Make sure to check out my picture page to see some photos from the festival 10.6.10 I just got back from Hawaii last night and I was greeted with great news in the form of electronic mail. My short film Unit 30 was accepted to the Fargo Fantastic Film Festival! The festival takes place in Fargo, ND Oct. 15-17 and is part of Valleycon (which is a cool Sci Fi entertainment convention). You'd like MORE good news you say? I also found out that Unit 30 was nominated for 3 awards at the Terror Film Festival. It was nominated for: Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Thriller Short Film! You'd like even MORE good news!?!?! (You're getting kind of pushy now.......) A scene from Unit 30 made it into the Terror Film Festival trailer. You can see the trailer here. The scene is around 3:15 ..................................................................SEPTEMBER....................................................... 9.27-10.5.10 Please don't break into my house while I'm in Hawaii. Thank you 9.20.10 Unit 30 will screen at the Terror Film Festival on friday Oct. 22 during the 5:45pm block. The festival takes place in Center City, PA at the Ethical Society Building (at rittenhouse square) located at 1906 South Rittenhouse Square, 19103. I just got back from The Indie Gathering Film Festival a few days ago and I had an amazing time! 8.1.10 My Short film was accepted to the GIAA Film Festival! What a great week: Unit 30 screened at AOF, I'm getting ready to go to Ohio for The Indie Gathering Film Festival where Unit 30 won the award for "Horror-Comedy for a short film" and it was accepted to GIAA!?! August, you have your work cut out for you! ...........................................................................JULY......................................................... 7.29.10 My short film Unit 30 played at the Action On Film Festival last night and I had an amazing time! I met a lot of great people and Unit 30 was well received,- added bonus: the poster for Unit 30 was choosen to be on the cover of the AOF Program! I now have the screening time for Unit 30 at the Indie Gathering. Please, hold your applause. Unit 30 will screen on Saturday August 7th at 7:45pm. The awards will be handed out on Sunday at 4pm. Unit 30 won best horror-comedy for a short film. Yes, I'm nervous 6.21.10 I animated and acted in a new sketch! You can check it out here 6.13.10 I just found out that Unit 30 (the short film I wrote, directed and acted in) was accepted to The Indie Gathering Film Festival. Not only will it screen at the festival, but it also won best horror comedy for a short film!!! How awesome is that!? The festival takes place August 6-8th in Ohio, I'm not sure when U30 is screening, stay tuned for more details. 6.11.10 I've returned from filming back East. Whoever said, "if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere" was obviously not talking about New York, but was referring to shooting a movie on the East coast. The humidity alone will put hair on your chest! I can't say too much about the movie....But what I can say, is that it is a sci-fi drama with a lot of sfx and I had an amazing time during the shoot. I met and worked with so many wonderful people and really couldn't have asked for a better group to spend 5 days with shooting a movie. 6.9.10 New feature added! Between my busy schedule of counting calories and sleeping, I'll try to remember to update FS often. 6.3.10 A short comedy I wrote, directed and acted in called Unit 30 was accepted into the Action on Film Festival (AOF).
